S4 Open for N2 networks
S4 Open appliances uniquely support the flexible integration of multiple protocols in the Building Automation industry. Through interpreting system communication, customers now have the option to cut and paste integration into BAS systems that have traditionally been proprietary. The S4 Open appliances, now available from the S4 group, utilize the S4 Open platform to open up the N2 bus systems to new architectures. The technology enables end users to retain existing investment in the N2 bus field devices and yet plan for cost effective growth and evolution in the future by integrating BACnet, XML, or other protocols into their building automation strategies.
The S4 Open: N2 Switch
The N2 Switch is developed primarily to merge and extend existing Metasys by JCI installations. End users can now easily merge existing and legacy N2 systems and extend supervision of physically separate N2 networks through virtually connecting these systems via the Ethernet ready N2 Switch.
The S4 Open: OPC-N2 Router
S4 Open products enable smart integration in N2 bus based environments. The S4 Open: OPC-N2 Router enables segmentation and seamless integration of third party unitary controllers on a Metasys by JCI system as well as virtually merging multiple N2 bus systems. The powerful S4 Open appliance from the S4 Group automaticallyhandles addressing and management of device profiles on the N2 Bus. It easily monitors and manages your N2 building automation system via ether-net like another component of your information technology infrastructure.
The S4 Open: BACnet-N2 Router
The S4 Open: BACnet-N2router is now about to be released in to final production. Now with BACnet integrated into the S4 Open platform, traditionally hard-wired N2 environments can seamlessly introduce BACnet ready systems and hardware, without wasting existing physical infrastructure or investment.
The S4 Open: Console
All Systems and Appliances within the S4 Open family of products are managed by this single Management Console. Being familiar with one S4 Open Product means you are automatically familiar with all other S4 Open Products. The Console uses Microsoft Windows’ Look & Feel which is the de facto state of the art in the User Interface Technology.

OPC-SNMP Enterprise Agent
